I actually know this. This was used by graphic designers before the advent of computer graphics because it gave maximum analysis of font spacing leading and all of that junk. I don't remember the passage it was derived from but I remember it was something about pain or liking pain. I am going to google this now because i am pretty sure this is wrong. I have been making crap up for so long I am not sure whether I am right about this or not.
I think anonymous is my brother DK. Identify yourself.
I would guess that DK is the likely geek to knwo all those details without doing a google search.
