Okay, I need some advice. EB is a little drool baby - is there any way to keep her crib sheet from becoming yucky without changing the sheet after every nap?
Also, any ideas on wake time activities for an almost 5 month old? (Who, at this very moment, has her foot in her mouth).

What's in My Bag Contest Winner: Leah Clark! Thanks Leah for participating - I will be sending you some brownies this week! Email me your address!

And finally - Devin Moore is having baby Claire as I write this! Stay tuned for pictures and updates!

What a beautiful picture! Wow.

My friend used to work at Gymboree and she gave me the book by them called Baby Play. It has lots of good activities for babies split up by 0-3 months, 3-6 months, etc. They are all working on different skills too so its a bonus!

Some of the 3month+ games are rolling them on a blanket, peek a boo, kicking an aluminum pan, playing with pinwheels, etc. Some 6 month + are rolling balls, playing with those plastic swim tubes for the pool, drumming on bowls, etc.

Those pads I gave you would work, put them under her face.

that picture is priceless Jeni - I love it. we have the cloths that we put under Sadie Beth for a long time while she slept. I don't know what they are called, but they are thicker rectangle shaped fabric pieces. sorry I'm not more help!

Man that baby has such a cute little dress on. Whoever bought that for her should be a baby stylist. That is the most darling baby in the world

hey jeni! It's Christie. I put a blanket down over Eden's crib sheet and tuck it in really good on the sides so that it is softer for her than a stiff crib sheet, and when she used to spit up a lot, I could just change the blanket without having to tear the entire bed apart to change the crib sheet. Hope that helps!!

Also, you mentioned the leaky diaper situation...Huggies have always leaked on Eden, Pampers are our diaper of choice...they do not seem to leak like the others...:)

Jeni,
It's Kari-Beth, Carrie, and Devin (and Claire:) and Carrie would like to suggest the "ultimate crib sheet"...it attaches to the rungs of the crib slats with snaps and you can still see the crib sheet and it only covers the top part where the baby sleeps. You can get one at Babies R Us!
We love you and miss you and wish you were here!
