Rain Rain go away come again NO OTHER day ...... Jeni really doesn't like the rain - If any one doesn't know she will not fix her hair when it is raining outside. She got punked today...she got up early and fixed her hair and opened the back door to find it was yes raining. Ha Nice part is its almost 1700 and her hair is still nice and pretty.

So we are at a coffee house working on or winter vacation for our one year anniversary, we were given a voucher that we were able to use for a weeks stay in a luxurious resort in Nashville Tennessee. Any suggestions of what we should do in or around Nashville during Christmas?

Our weekend hike together in Red River Gorge was canceled because of the torrential rain. So we are going to enjoy a week around our new home reading and getting ready for the visit of ONE Wilma Elaine Adams.

(Jeni) Last night I went to a banquet for an organization called A Woman's Choice. It is sort of a crisis pregnancy center where they counsel women to keep their unwanted pregnancies. They also provide medical care if they decide to keep the babies, and ongoing training in many areas including GED classes, parenting classes, anger management classes, etc... It is an amazing place. They have been the direct result of nearly six hundred babies being born instead of aborted this year. PRAISE THE LORD! The benevolence organization I work for work closely with the clients of A Woman's Choice, providing them with baby items, clothes, food, and baby furniture. I just love what AWC does. God is really using them to impact people's lives!

Well, for all the blog fans out there ---- I just recently (as of yesterday) discovered that there is a Internet service that covers our area, and it is a reasonable price. I am going to check into the possibility of having their service. But seeing how I am at the coffee shop now I should just go on and update you on our life...........

WELL - Things are coming together at our new home, the inside is almost finished (we are about to be out of boxes) Jeni said last night every thing will have a home before Monday! She is a BIG anti clutter person - If it hasn't been worn in the past 48 hours watch out? !!

Jeni's Job is going well, She is busy working on a project that will help, from the information side of the ministry. Developing a series of Videos that the prospective clients will watch as they come to Life Bridge for Help. This seems to be keeping her busy along with all the other demands of the ministry.

Youth Group - WoW - I am enjoying the opportunity but It has stretched me in several ways. Over this past weekend we took our first Road Trip to Bardstown for a Corn Maze. It was a great time. I have been spending some amazing time in the Word studying for school and Church I just wish i had the time to update my blog of Bible study. Days and Days of fruitful reading in the Old Testament - O have I ever told you how much I enjoy the O.T.

29th we have a big event @ our church called the Celebration Service - We (Jon and I) are both teaching on the subject of sacrifice. It is a Capital Growth Program focused on the spiritual side of our giving to God in money, time and service. Pray for us as we are both very busy working on sermons and visual aid.

So how about a funny poem by Robert W. Service

The Cremation of Sam McGee

There are strange things done in the midnight sun
By the men who moil for gold;
The Arctic trails have their secret tales
That would make your blood run cold;
The Northern Lights have seen queer sights,
But the queerest they ever did see
Was that night on the marge of Lake Lebarge I cremated Sam McGee..........

This is a very funny poem about a man from Plumtree Tennessee. Click on the text if you wish to read the rest and the poem with pictures will open.

Do you ever just thing the walls are going to squeeze you out. If you cant tell by the picture the two rock walls are towering to each side.

By the time I took this picture outside of Lexington KY the week was good.

Things have been very busy around Taylorsville and Jeni and I both took the past weekend to rest a bit. She went with some friends to Gatlinburg to work on some work related ideas for Missions. I on the other hand went to the woods, one of the things I do best. The picture on the right is of fat mans misery, in Red River Gorge. My father, and one of his old High School buddies Wilbur Duel, covered several of the most popular hikes in the area as we attempted to plan the next trip. We enjoy our times together doing nothing but hiking and talking.

Jeni has been very busy with her job @ Life Bridge She is working on a new video project for the clients that she works with on a weakly basis. We are enjoying our new home and about to get every thing settled in, and the youth group I think I am connecting with bit by bit.
