July 16-18 I had the great pleasure to travel to Rockville VA with Paul Chitwood.

Paul has been a life long friend a pastor, mentor, and is also a trustee on the International Mission Board. The reason for our trip to VA was to attend the Trustees meeting. Paul and I drove over from Louisvlle and on our way enjoyed the sights of Charletville. This meeting was a refresing time as I was able to talk with Paul about several spiritual issues, and also able to learn some insightful truths from the sermons he has been preaching from the parables.

The meeting was a great oppertunity for me to meet several members of the Central Asia team, and to also see a Board apointment service. WoW what a challange that can be to see 84 men and women sent out by the call of God

This is the second week of Jeni's new Job, Yes on top of the great news that we are expanding in numbers Jeni has had the oppertunity to move from LifeBridge to work with SOZO again and help with the moblization of resources and people to the Land and the People that we Love so much in Central Asia.

The Week of July 8th-13 I took the The Youth Group (12 students) along with 2 Adults to Crossings Summer camp.

The week was focused on the the purpose of ONE, the subjet changed each day as we talked about ONE Lord, ONE Calling.... It was and extremly long week, and I will have to say there was ONE thing that I seemed to think about. ON Friday night the 6th Jeni and I discovered that we were expecting a new addition to our family.

During our week at camp I had the oppertunity to talk with our students one on one about many of the things in their lives that hindered their walk with Jesus Christ. Several of our students talked about how youth camp was often a hill top or emotional high that often ends in a let down just weeks after returing home, or shortly after school starts back.

During This week I thought alot about how the garbage we put in or life through TV iPods and Movies will often clog or minds and emotions with elements of the "Worldly Culture", and not allow us to focus on the Spiritual mindset that God had made a way for us through Jesus Christ.

During the week of Independence Jeni and I were able to have a time to relax on the sands of Hilton Head Island. We started the week with some great time with our family. My father and I took a very long and Hot Hike in the Smokies. It was the last weekend of June, and David and I took the long journey to the top of Gregory's Bald. We had an amazing time. While Jeni enjoyed several days with all the members of the fam in Greer S.C.

Jeni enjoyed hours of sun and sand while I took cover under a green tarp and read a great fiction book called, A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini. We enjoyed lots of great sea food at several of the local places. One that we would suggest was Caption Wood's.
